Welcome to the Infant Toddler Service Delivery Learning Path!

In PA Infant Toddler Early Intervention programs, Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) has been identified as the effective practice for providing high-quality home visits and itinerant services. This learning path is a sequence of resources organized to provide a basic understanding of SS-OO-PP-RR and the Family 5Q, the two frameworks utilized in FGRBI. It is appropriate for anyone working in IT EI programs, regardless of their discipline, caseload size or full-time or part-time status. For those who work directly with families and caregivers in their homes, this learning path will provide the foundational knowledge to prepare them to join a Professional Learning Community (PLC) or Trio Group as the next step on their journey to becoming endorsed as a PA Early Intervention Coach.

Learning Path Navigation Guide

Beginning with EI Service Delivery: Coaching Across Setting, each item on the learning path is a prerequisite for the next step. As you complete one step, you will gain access to the next. This may be through a survey code, a registration key, or automatic enrollment in the next step.

For example:

Upon completion of the Final Evaluation in the Course Wrap-Up section of the SS-OO-PP-RR online course, the SS-OO-PP-RR Webinar section will unlock providing information about the SS-OO-PP-RR Webinar.

If you haven’t completed EI Service Delivery and FGRBI, click the links below to access these courses. If you have completed both, you will have access to SS-OO-PP-RR under “My Courses” after you log into the EITA training site.

Additional information on each component of the learning path is provided below. If you have questions or need assistance, reference the Learning Path Navigation Guide and/or contact the EITA Help Desk.

What’s Next?

Upon completion of the learning path components listed above, individuals who work directly with families and caregivers in their homes will need to make an informed decision regarding the next step on their journey to becoming endorsed as a PA Early Intervention Coach: join a Professional Learning Community (PLC) or a Trio Group.

Both PLCs and Trios offer the opportunity for enhanced learning and practical application of FGRBI principles and practices to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality Early Intervention services for all children and families in Pennsylvania, regardless of where they live in the state.
